Dr. Seuss was born March 2, 1904, in Springfield, MA. His birth name was Theodor Seuss “Ted” Geisel but lovingly became known as “Dr. Seuss.” He died September 24, 2991, in La Jolla, CA.
Dr. Seuss was an American writer who wrote and illustrated children’s books. Most of America probably grew up learning to read Dr. Seuss’s books. I know one of our favorites was, “The Cat in the Hat.”
