National Girl Scout Day

National Girl Scout Day is celebrated all over the country with 2.5 million Girl Scouts and leaders.

The first Girl Scout troop was organized by Juliette Gordon Low on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, GA.  It is an organization that has become widely recognized with girl scout all over the world.

I loved being a Girl Scout leader when my daughter was a young girl.  We were involved for many years and it was some of the best years we had doing things together.

Celebrate Girl Scouts all over the world and remember how this organization helps girls to grow, succeed, excel and become anything they desire to be.

Hi, my name is Pamela. I love books! I have a book in my hand wherever I go, if not a paperback or hardcover book, I’ve got my Kindle, or the Kindle app on my iphone. If I’m not at work and I’m sitting still, I’m most likely reading. I want to share my love of books with you and hopefully, you will read a few of my favorites and come back to share what you thought too. Let’s get reading!!
